Dagli scaffali impolverati (ed incustoditi) della Procura delle Repubblica di Genova torna alla luce un carteggio riservato (e alquanto sconcertante). Un Thriller senza pari, storie di intrighi e spionaggio internazionale all’ombra della Lanterna. Lui - ALTANA PIETRO - è uno scomodo "giornalista" economico genovese. Vien denunciato dalla società Armatrice COECLERICI SPA per spionaggio industriale e intercettazioni telefoniche abusive. Il quotidiano ligure pubblica la notizia: "SPIATA VIA FAX L’ALTA FINANZA, INTERCEPTOR RUBA I SEGRETI DI AZIENDE ED AVVOCATI" (IL LAVORO-REPUBBLICA 20/12/1994)
La Procura Genovese scoprirà di dover disporre giocoforza il suo proscioglimento. Si scoprirà che il "giornalista" è anche un agente del SISMI" (Servizio Segreto Militare).

In questo link è pubblicata una lettera confidenziale inviata dall’agente del SISMI alle autorità di governo italiane a cui è allegata una memoria riservata dove compare il nome di diverse società oggetto di interesse da parte del SISMI, tra cui l’ENI.
Da quì in avanti il giallo si fà più fitto ed impenetrabile. Il cronista/spia si trasforma in Sherlock Holmes investigando sulla shipping company. Si alternano trame, cospirazioni e colpi di scena. Il novello detective scopre che la società armatoriale COECLERICI SPA è a capo di un’intelligence da far impallidire il Pentagono e far invidia ad Ekelon. Ma è solo la punta dell’iceberg....
